Although
shark like in appearance this species poses no threat to humans, the
Silver shark and the Red Tailed Shark are the most commonest species
kept in aquariums but both are very different in requirements. Silver
sharks are a stunning spectacle in a school swimming around a large
tank, whereas the Red Tailed is territorial, and aggressive with its own
species so must be kept as an individual.
